Atul is an experienced technology executive with hands-on knowledge in artificial intelligence/machine learning and software technologies and applying them to business problems. Before joining Tavant, he was Vice President Technology leading the Artificial Intelligence R&D lab at Samsung SDS Research America. There he developed technology for AI based decision making for enterprise solutions. It involved cutting edge research in the areas of Reinforcement Learning and Deep Learning, and involved working closely with the academia, such as UC Berkley, University of Alberta, with professors there who are known authorities in these fields.

Atul has held leadership positions at many other companies, such as AGNITY, BayPackets, and Motorola. He has a Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
